Maple Leaf’s Business Development Team has set forth a set of core objectives to provide investors and investment advisors with professional, timely, and knowledgeable service, support, and education across Canada. To ensure this, the team employs a range of strategies to stay informed of the latest industry developments and use its extensive knowledge and expertise to offer guidance and support to clients. The Business Development Team is led by Shane Doyle, President, CEO & Director of Maple Leaf Short Duration, with key offices throughout Canada.

Managing Partner, President, CEO & Director
Mr. Doyle holds a significant number of key positions within Maple Leaf companies. Specifically, he serves as the President, CEO, and Director of Maple Leaf Short Duration Flow-Through Management Corp., which functions as the General Partner of Maple Leaf Short Duration Flow-Through Limited Partnerships. Additionally, he is a Managing Partner and Director of Maple Leaf Short Duration Holdings Ltd. Furthermore, Mr. Doyle assumes the role of President and Director of Maple Leaf Energy Income Management Corps., which acts as the General Partner of both Maple Leaf Energy Income Limited Partnerships and Maple Leaf Energy Income Holdings Corp. Moreover, he serves as the President and Director of Maple Leaf Corporate Funds Ltd.
Mr. Doyle is also the of President and Director of CADO Bancorp Ltd. and its wholly owned subsidiary, CADO Investment Fund Management Inc.

Emily Burkart
Managing Director of Capital Markets
As Managing Director Capital Markets Ms. Burkart brings over 7 years experience in the European and Canadian Investment Industry.
Ms. Burkart is primarily responsible for the structuring, management and execution of new Maple Leaf product launches as well as daily operations within the Canadian capital markets.
Ms. Burkart earned a Bachelor of Commerce from University College Dublin in 2012 and an MSc in International Business focused on International Finance from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School in 2014.
